Newsnet Scotland has provided a video of the entire session of FMQs from Holyrood. The video is followed by the reporting of the session by BBC Radio Scotland.
We invite visitors to form their own judgement on whether the report is an accurate reflection of proceedings. We also invite visitors to decide whether all participants have been given equal airtime by the BBC.

First Minister Questions is becoming a big waste of time. It is just used as a platform for Labour and their media cronies to talk down the Scottish Government. And Lamont is just a joke, I dont see her party bringing jobs to Scotland, I dont see them benefiting Scotland at all. This doesnt happen in the government of any other country so why should we have to put up with this constant negativity. No wonder Glasgow has such a negative attitude, it is reflected in the party who runs it's council.

This page is going straight to my Facebook,where it will be seen by many, Scotlandwide and worldwide.
There is a black hole in the Scottish democratic process,and Labour in Scotland would run a mile if they saw it walking down the road.
To put it mildly----they and the BBC are using the Westminster mode of parliamentary democracy which is confrontational in the extreme.
We don't need that system up here.
Fairness and constructive criticism,well resourced should be the name of the game,NOT the baying and banging of desks.
Leave Westminster behaviour where it belongs----at Westminster.
Methinks BBC Scotland is trying to spare Labour's blushes by selectively heavy editing.

Thursday's performance almost had me pining for a return to the days of the previous leader of the opposition. Now that is a frightening thought, but the current incumbent was truly lamentable and would be better advised to try and raise her game and live down to the level of the bar set by Mr Gray, if that is possible.
Then we got to the other contributions, and to the efforts of the state-funded broadcaster. Despair all round. Ms Dugdale shamed her party, her constituents and anyone else in whose name she felt she spoke. Time to up the game.
Now the A9; if only the combined unionists hadn't forced through the tram debacle the dualling would have been half way to Inverness by now. Too many short memories it seems. Some of us won't forget.
The word needs to be spread, so that's the YES stickers on the cars. Scotland can and will do better, but only if we stop putting people of the stature of the current leader of the opposition and her throng in a position where they can seek to drag us all down to wherever it is they want us to be. Labour - Scotland's Embarrassment.

FMQ is not accurately reported in the MSM so the juxtaposition of reality and the BBC's report is enlightening. No comment is needed.

Agreed cirsium - there's no doubt the broadcast material is heavily flavoured by comment. It could therefore be asserted that the intention behind such editing is to adjust what is the actuality and thereby quite shamelessly set-out to ultimately misinform.

The continuing saga of the BBC, unionist and Scottish media HATE SCOTLAND CAMPAIGN, they used to talk Scotland down. Now they openly show their hatred of the Scottish people. They do not want to see any improvement in peoples lives in Scotland. Without doubt this is an organised campaign the snp is the conduit but the hate campaign is against all of the Scottish people.

Simple really, it's called FMQ's so that's what the BBC broadcast. Change the name to FMQ's & ANSWERS then the First Ministers answers, for the SNP Government, may get broadcast. But don't bet on it.

All three leaders got their facts wrong.
Ruth Davison dodn't know that the FSA awas being abolished. Willie Rennie didn't know that the lady he claimed was taking another £50000 on her salary wasn't. Lamont? Too many faux pas to list here.

A couple of weeks ago during Call Kaye
when Fred MaCauley was telling her about his coming show, she mentioned FMQ's was on that day....To which Fred chirped "we'll see if we get any answers"

This was not the first time that Fred MacAulay has made disparaging remarks about the First Minister. I e-mailed his programme complaining about his comments but didn’t hear anything about it on his programme nor did he bother with a reply. He is not the only one that openly shows their dislike of the SNP and Alex Salmond because Tam Cowan was at it a couple of weeks ago. So it’s not just the politics programmes that try brainwashing us but many other programmes/shows as well.

Fred MacAulay is one of those hard pressed comics! who denigrates his country for laughs cheap ones at that,he goes to England calls down Glasgow,Scotlan d he is a disgrace,could he make fun of England the same way? and get laughs? and still get paid? I listened to him a couple of times now if he is on a program It turns me off.

Labour MP Ian Davidson on the parliament channel (freeview 81) asked if defence jobs after independence would likely go to firms in "Greater England"! The MOD man was visibly shaken but still managed to agree that this would likely be the case. Do the NI and Welsh regard themselves as mere add-ons to England, either now or after independence? All this during the so called scrutiny of the "referendum on separation for Scotland" bill. Davidson's comments were matched by those of Alan Reid MP and Lindsay Roy MP who were a complete embarrassment to their voters and the other contributors. Pity this cant be seen on prime-time TV. It would surely add a few thousand more to the YES vote.

It's so one sided. If there were some SNP MPs on the committee it might be better, but I suspect they would just be subjected to continual abuse and attempts at humiliating them by the Labour Party. I noted that the Labour MPs on the group continually refer to 'separation'.

His monotonal presentational style could be made infinitely more interesting merely by introducing a few glottal stops, or better still if Isobel Fraser was back in the driving seat.
Of course, we will still have to suffer his shallow political analysis, of merely paraphrasing what others have said, on Wednesday's Scottish politics.

Does anyone remember during the worst of the troubles in Ulster, when during news broadcasts, Gerry Adams words would be dubbed by an actor, this is just as laughable an attempt to stifle the will of the people as that was. This is so clear an attempt to undermine the First Minister as you could ever see. Shame on the BBC. Yet Again!!!

The report was imbalanced - too much time on live coverage of questions from opposition with only second hand summaries of the FM's rebuttal.
But I'll tell you what else is unbalanced - the obsession of those convinced of BBC bias to the the virtual exclusion of any real analysis of arguments, context and, critically, what the unionist opposition are saying.
Instead of being obsessed by 3 minute 45 secs of airtime, perhaps they - and this includes on occasion the otherwise admirable Newsnet Scotland - could spend the kind of long hours I do capturing and editing media broadcasts and newspaper reports, then offering extended analysis of what the opposition spokespeople are actually saying, and rebutting it line by line.
That might make a contribution to shifting the intractable majority who are going to vote NO in the autumn of 2014 unless we get our act together.
Every time this kind of thing is done, it alienates BBC presenters and backroom staff who are trying to do their job in an objective manner. It is thoroughly counter productive to the independence cause.
